Kevin’s* Question

 

Kevin offered the group a question
A metaphor
“When does the sun shine on you?”
And we answered

Some said
When they’re playing with their grandchildren
Some said
When they’re cultivating their garden
Some said
When friends love to eat their cooking

I said that the sun shines on me
When I’m performing on a stage
What I didn’t say
Is that I burn easily.

Start Again
